Your notes and plans live on your phone, not on our servers. There's no account, no ads, and no tracking. Text you send to the companion is processed by our AI provider to build your plan, and purchases go through Apple with an anonymous ID. You can see and delete everything the companion knows about you, right in the app.
Who we are
Irmigo is made by Diego Kakihara, an independent developer based in Japan. For anything about this policy or your data, write to contact@irmigo.app.
What stays on your device
Irmigo is built local-first. The things you put in — captures, plans, sessions, and what the companion remembers about you — are stored in a database on your iPhone. Notifications and alarms are scheduled on the device too; they fire without any server involved.
If you delete the app, that on-device data is deleted with it.
What leaves your device
Two things, and only when you use them:
AI planning. When you ask the companion to plan or respond, the text you wrote and the minimum context needed are sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards them to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate the response. Our server is a relay for this — it does not keep a database of your notes or plans. OpenAI processes this data as a service provider under its API terms, which do not use API data to train its models.
Purchases. Subscriptions are handled by Apple and RevenueCat (our subscription service) using a random, anonymous ID. We never receive your name, email address, or Apple ID. Purchase history tied to that anonymous ID is used to unlock your subscription and to restore it if you reinstall.
What we don't do
No advertising, and no advertising SDKs.
No tracking across other apps or websites.
No selling or renting your data. Ever.
No account or sign-up required.
Your controls
See what it knows. Settings shows everything the companion remembers about you.
Delete anything. Delete individual memories or all of them, and delete captures and plans, from within the app.
Take everything with you. Export your data from Settings. Your notebook is never held hostage — this works on the free tier, forever.
Children
Irmigo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so plainly in the app or on this page — not bury it. The "Last updated" date above always tells you when it last changed.
